Tulips

Tulips are an amazing display of color mid-late march-April. You can find tulips in every color including black and every combination or colors. Tulips can be as large as your fist, as small as a walnut and some have a slight fragrance. Tulips are a bulbous plant and bulbs will multiply each year. We recommend bulbs be dug every 2 years to divide and protected with a layer of mulch or bark on years that they're not dug up. Bulbs in general like clay type soil that is moist. A very wet soil will encourage rot while a very dry sandy loam type will dry the bulb so that it shrivels and is not very productive.
